I am one of the Professional School Counselors here at Signal Hill. I currently work here four days a week.  I also have an office at Alvey Elementary School in Haymarket, Va when I can be found on Tuesdays.   At Signal Hill, I work closely with Mrs. Selepak, our full-time counselor.  Together we teach class lessons to all grade levels to address our students social, academic, and career goals.  We also conduct small groups based on our student's needs and meet with students individually as needed.

I started at Signal Hill last school year.  Previously I worked as a school counselor in Waldorf, Maryland for 4 years.  Before beginning in the education field, I worked for a few years in the mental health field as a counselor in therapuetic foster care and residential treatment facilities in Pennsylvania.


I am the Student Council Association Advisor at Signal Hill. A SCA website should be set up shortly to inform you of all the wonderful work our SCA is doing and will be doing throughout the school year.
